About this form

This form collects the information we need to register you in the Ontario Hunter Education package. You MUST complete all of the mandatory fields (marked in RED)

This form is on a SECURE SERVER.

To register, you must provide a valid Visa/MasterCard which will be debited for the full amount when it is processed. Your course booking is NOT confirmed until your payment is received and processed.

Section "B" � When do you want to attend?

YOU MUST pre-register for your Ontario Hunter Education Program to be sure of a space.

If you are paying for more than one person you have to fill out a separate registration form for each person and pay separately for each.

Notes:

The Canadian Firearms Safety Course is mandatory for this class!

Proof of classroom training is required, showing a PAL is not proof of classroom training.

We  offer the �One Stop� program Only. Training duration is 12 hours of classroom time. 

Those not able to provide proof of training will receive an H2. Up to Two Hours in addition to the training is allocate for the completion of the exam.

Upon completion of the training, and successfully completing the test, students will receive a document which, when taken to a Service Ontario location, will qualify for the issuance of a hunting licence.

Candidates who do not successfully complete the test, must wait at least 24 hours before attempting a second test.

The Ontario Hunter Education Program will assist you to understand the natural world and become a knowledgeable and responsible hunter. The program provides introduction information about:

  • ecosystems and wildlife management
  • hunting laws and regulations
  • hunter responsibilities
  • identification, biology, management of and hunting techniques for big game, small game and waterfowl.
  • hunting and survival equipment
  • the hunter's role in society.

New hunters of all ages must take hunter education training and pass an exam before they can purchase their first hunting licence.

Class sizes are limited and spaces will be allocated only AFTER payment is received.

Cancellation & Reschedule
Policy

Cancellations
Cancellations may be accepted up to 2 weeks (14 calendar days) before a scheduled course. There is a $75 non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations within the 2 week (14 calendar days) window will be accepted if, and only if, we are able to fill your seat.

Cancellations are not accepted within 48 hours of a session.

If you do not show up for a class, the full fee is forfeited.

Reschedules
Reschedules will be freely accepted up to 1 week (7 calendar days) before a session but if you reschedule a second time, the $50 service charge will apply.

Reschedules requested less than 1 week (7 calendar days) before the session are subject to a $50 service charge.

Reschedules within 48 hours of a session are only accepted if we can fill your seat, or if there are unusual circumstances (illness, death in the family, etc)..

Transfers
Transfers to a different location: If you book a session and then transfer to a different location, there will be an administration charge of $50. All of the other cancellation/reschedule terms still apply.

If you do not show up for a class without prior notification, the full fee is forfeited.

That does not mean that you are automatically registered for the hunting course!
